Purpose
We are a business networking group San Diego's East County whose Mission is to providing quality leads to our members.

We do this by meeting weekly to familiarize ourselves with each member's business and by actively seeking opportunities to promote those businesses. We ask our friends, neighbors, and customers if they are planning any upcoming projects and then suggest someone from the group as a possible service provider and we facilitate that connection between our members and the leads we discovered. We are committed to becoming a powerful sales force for each others' businesses.

We also expand our group by inviting worthwhile businesses to join. We avoid conflicts of interest by having only one member from each business type. One carpenter, one chiropractor, one realtor, one roofer, etc…

Membership
If you are a local business professional and interested in joining ECBB, your first step is to visit a regular Breakfast Meeting to meet the group (see our Calendar) and to introduce yourself and your business. If - after your second visit - you desire to join, just contact one of the group leaders to let them know, and plan to skip the next scheduled meeting so there can be a vote among the regular members. ECBB desires to refer business only to companies of integrity and value that are appropriately licensed and insured. The group will vote on new businesses based on this criteria. Businesses can be voted out by the regular members based on issues of integrity, poor customer service, or any other issue that negatively affects the overall purpose fo the group.

Meetings
When we meet, we will enjoy a meal, have a featured member “Showboat” their business. After these presentations, we may have some group announcements and occasional business to talk about. The meeting concludes with each member and visitor having the opportunity to give a 2 minute commercial or plug for their product or service, announce the leads they brought, and pass out business cards. The meetings are scheduled for 90 minutes, but usually end after one hour.

Cost
We are committed to keeping the cost of membership as low as possible. Currently our Membership Dues are paid monthly in advance and are based on $10. per meeting. So if there are 4 scheduled meetings, then the monthly dues are $40. (weather you attend or not.) See our Group Calandar for the meeting schedule for each month. These dues cover the cost for your breakfast, beverage, tax and tip. Any funds left over from our bill to the restaurant, go toward our minimal overhead, such as breakfast for guests and promotional expenses.

We are a relatively new group that’s still organizing, but we expect to expand quickly in the months ahead! Thank you for visiting the East County Business Builders website.
